Northern Flicker and Starling Duke It Out!

First a pair of European Starlings evicted a Red-bellied Woodpecker from the hole he had just excavated for his mate. Then the Starlings faced their own home invader: a Northern Flicker. They fought beak to beak! And my camcorder caught the action close up. Take a gander at it.
