Trumpeter Swans: Birds of a Feather Flock Together

Trumpeter Swans were hunted over a period of several centuries until they were almost extinct by the beginning of the 20th century. The reason was that their large feathers made the best quill pens. I don’t mean to sound flip, but thank goodness for Bics, huh? A century after their near demise, these placid elegant creatures are back in goodly numbers. They’re like flying noodles in a bowl of spaghetti. Watch the movie to see why I’d say that.
